Oak Forest's Crafting Retreats are an opportunity for creative types to get away and immerse themselves fully into their artistic pleasures. Surrounded by fellow crafting enthusiasts, guests will enjoy plenty of space, delicious food, and new friendships.

No planning required!

Unlike the "plan your own" crafting retreats hosted at Oak Forest throughout the year, these retreats are unique in the fact that all facets of your time here have been intentionally planned for you by the staff at Oak Forest. From group meals and ample crafting time to fun activities and a gospel-centric devotional message each day, our staff has planned a crafting getaway you'll never forget!

Sample Itinerary

First Day:

  • Check-in from 1-5pm
  • Dinner is served at 5:30pm, followed by orientation
  • Crafting time

Full Days:

  • Devotional shared in crafting rooms
  • Brunch served at 10:30am
  • Crafting time
  • Cafe open from 2:30-3:30pm
  • Dinner served at 5:30pm, followed by games
  • Crafting time

Final Day:

  • Check out of guest rooms by 10am
  • Brunch served at 10:30am
  • Devotional shared in crafting rooms
  • Craft time until 2pm
